السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ يَا أَهْلَ بَيْتِ النُّبُوَّةِ وَمَوْضِعَ الرِّسَالَةِ وَمُخْتَلَفَ الْمَلاَئِكَةِ وَمَهْبِطَ الْوَحْيِ وَمَعْدِنَ الرَّحْمَةِ. وَخُزَّانَ الْعِلْمِ وَمُنْتَهَى الْحِلْمِ وَأُصُولَ الْكَرَمِ وَقَادَةَ الْأُمَمِ وَأَوْلِيَاءَ النِّعَمِ وَعَنَاصِرَ الْأَبْرَارِ. وَدَعَائِمَ الْأَخْيَارِ وَسَاسَةَ الْعِبَادِ وَأَرْكَانَ الْبِلاَدِ وَأَبْوَابَ الْإِيمَانِ وَأُمَنَاءَ الرَّحْمَانِ. أَشْهَدُ أَنَّكُمْ قَدْ بَلَّغْتُمْ وَنَصَحْتُمْ وَصَبَرْتُمْ فِي ذَاتِ اللَّهِ وَكُذِّبْتُمْ وَأُسِيءَ إِلَيْكُمْ فَغَفَرْتُمْ.
Peace be upon you, O People of the House of Prophecy, seat of the Message, meeting place of the angels, place of descent of Revelation, and mine of mercy. Treasurers of knowledge, pinnacle of forbearance, roots of generosity, leaders of nations, masters of blessings, and essence of the righteous. Pillars of the chosen, governors of the servants, foundations of the lands, gates of faith, and trustees of the Most Merciful. I bear witness that you conveyed, counseled, and endured patiently for the sake of God. You were denied and wronged, yet you forgave.
