اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّ هَذَا يَوْمٌ تَبَرَّكَتْ بِهِ بَنُو أُمَيَّةَ وَابْنُ آكِلَةِ الْأَكْبَادِ اللَّعِينُ ابْنُ اللَّعِينِ عَلَى لِسَانِ نَبِيِّكَ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ صَلَوَاتُكَ وَسَلاَمُكَ فِي كُلِّ مَوْطِنٍ وَمَوْقِفٍ وَقَفَ فِيهِ نَبِيُّكَ صلى الله عليه وآله. اللَّهُمَّ الْعَنْ أَبَا سُفْيَانَ وَمُعَاوِيَةَ وَيَزِيدَ بْنَ مُعَاوِيَةَ عَلَيْهِمْ مِنْكَ اللَّعْنَةُ أَبَدَ الْآبِدِينَ. وَهَذَا يَوْمٌ فَرِحَتْ بِهِ آلُ زِيَادٍ وَآلُ مَرْوَانَ بِقَتْلِهِمُ الْحُسَيْنَ صَلَوَاتُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ. اللَّهُمَّ فَضَاعِفْ عَلَيْهِمُ اللَّعْنَ مِنْكَ وَالْعَذَابَ الْأَلِيمَ. اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَتَقَرَّبُ إِلَيْكَ فِي هَذَا اللَّيْوِمِ وَفِي مَوْقِفِي هَذَا وَأَيَّامِ حَيَاتِي بِالْبَرَاءَةِ مِنْهُمْ وَاللَّعْنَةِ عَلَيْهِمْ.
O God, this is a day in which the Banu Umayya rejoiced, and the son of the eater of livers, the accursed son of the accursed, according to the words of Your Prophet — upon him and his family Your blessings and peace in every place and position in which Your Prophet stood. O God, curse Abu Sufyan, Muawiya, and Yazid son of Muawiya — upon them Your curse for all eternity. This is a day in which the family of Ziyad and Marwan rejoiced at the killing of al-Husayn — God's blessings upon him. O God, multiply upon them Your curse and painful chastisement. O God, I draw near to You on this day, in this place, and all the days of my life by disowning them and cursing them.
