شي، تفسير العياشي عَنْ جَابِرٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ع قَالَ: سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ هَذِهِ الْآيَةِ وَ الَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ- لا يَخْلُقُونَ شَيْئاً وَ هُمْ يُخْلَقُونَ- أَمْواتٌ غَيْرُ أَحْياءٍ وَ ما يَشْعُرُونَ أَيَّانَ يُبْعَثُونَ
قَالَ الَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ الْأَوَّلُ وَ الثَّانِيُ وَ الثَّالِثُ كَذَّبُوا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ص بِقَوْلِهِ وَالُوا عَلِيّاً وَ اتَّبِعُوهُ فَعَادَوْا عَلِيّاً وَ لَمْ يُوَالُوهُ وَ دَعَوُا النَّاسَ إِلَى وَلَايَةِ أَنْفُسِهِمْ فَذَلِكَ قَوْلُ اللَّهِ- وَ الَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ
قَالَ وَ أَمَّا قَوْلُهُ لا يَخْلُقُونَ شَيْئاً فَإِنَّهُ يَعْنِي لَا يَعْبُدُونَ شَيْئاً- وَ هُمْ يُخْلَقُونَ فَإِنَّهُ يَعْنِي وَ هُمْ يُعْبَدُونَ
وَ أَمَّا قَوْلُهُ أَمْواتٌ غَيْرُ أَحْياءٍ يَعْنِي كُفَّارٌ غَيْرُ مُؤْمِنِينَ وَ أَمَّا قَوْلُهُ وَ ما يَشْعُرُونَ أَيَّانَ يُبْعَثُونَ فَإِنَّهُ يَعْنِي إِنَّهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ أَنَّهُمْ يُشْرِكُونَ- إِلهُكُمْ إِلهٌ واحِدٌ فَإِنَّهُ كَمَا قَالَ اللَّهُ
وَ أَمَّا قَوْلُهُ فَالَّذِينَ لا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْآخِرَةِ فَإِنَّهُ يَعْنِي لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالرَّجْعَةِ أَنَّهَا حَقٌّ وَ أَمَّا قَوْلُهُ قُلُوبُهُمْ مُنْكِرَةٌ فَإِنَّهُ يَعْنِي قُلُوبُهُمْ كَافِرَةٌ وَ أَمَّا قَوْلُهُ وَ هُمْ مُسْتَكْبِرُونَ فَإِنَّهُ يَعْنِي عَنْ وَلَايَةِ عَلِيٍّ ع مُسْتَكْبِرُونَ
قَالَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ فَعَلَ ذَلِكَ وَعِيداً مِنْهُ- لا جَرَمَ أَنَّ اللَّهَ يَعْلَمُ ما يُسِرُّونَ وَ ما يُعْلِنُونَ إِنَّهُ لا يُحِبُّ الْمُسْتَكْبِرِينَ عَنْ وَلَايَةِ عَلِيٍّ ع.
Tafseer Al Ayyashi – from Jabir, ‘From Abu Ja’far-asws he (the narrator) said, ‘I asked him-asws about this Verse: And those whom they are calling upon from besides Allah did not create anything, and they are Created [16: 20] (They are) dead, not living, and they are not aware when they would be Resurrected [16: 21]. He-asws said: ‘The ones who are calling upon besides Allah-azwj are the first one, the second one and the third one. They belied Rasool-Allah-saww of his-saww words: ‘And support Ali-asws and follow him-asws’. But, they neglected Ali-asws and did not support him-asws, and called the people to their own wilayah. So these are the Words of Allah-azwj: And those whom they are calling upon from besides Allah [16: 20]’. He-asws said: ‘And as for His-azwj Words: did not create anything [16: 20], it means they are not worshipping anything, and they are Created, it means they are worshipping. And as for His-azwj Words: (They are) dead, not living [16: 21], it means Kafirs, not Momineen, and they are not aware when they would be Resurrected [16: 21] – it means they are not believing, they are associating, Your God is one God [16: 22]. So it is as Allah-azwj Says. And as for His-azwj Words: so (as for) those who are not believing in the Hereafter, [16: 22] – They are not believing in the Return (Raj’at) that it is true. And as for His-azwj Words: their hearts are in denial and they are being arrogant [16: 22], it means their hearts are in disbelief (kafir). And as for His-azwj Words: and they are being arrogant [16: 22]. It means they are being arrogant from the Wilayah of Ali-asws. Allah-azwj Says to the one who does that: There is no doubt that Allah Knows what they are keeping as a secret and what they are making public. Surely He does not Love the arrogant [16: 23], about the Wilayah of Ali-asws’’. [65]
