َّدْتَ وَ سَلَّمْتَ غُفِرَ لَكَ كُلُّ ذَنْبٍ فِيمَا بَيْنَكَ وَ بَيْنَ الصَّلَاةِ الَّتِي قَدَّمْتَهَا إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ الْمُؤَخَّرَةِ فَهَذَا لَكَ فِي صَلَاتِكَ
وَ أَمَّا أَنْتَ يَا أَخَا الْأَنْصَارِ فَإِنَّكَ جِئْتَ تَسْأَلُنِي عَنْ حَجِّكَ وَ عُمْرَتِكَ وَ مَا لَكَ فِيهِمَا مِنَ الثَّوَابِ فَاعْلَمْ أَنَّكَ إِذَا أَنْتَ تَوَجَّهْتَ إِلَى سَبِيلِ الْحَجِّ ثُمَّ رَكِبْتَ رَاحِلَتَكَ وَ مَضَتْ بِكَ رَاحِلَتُكَ لَمْ تَضَعْ رَاحِلَتُكَ خُفّاً وَ لَمْ تَرْفَعْ خُفّاً إِلَّا كَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَكَ حَسَنَةً وَ مَحَا عَنْكَ سَيِّئَةً
فَإِذَا أَحْرَمْتَ وَ لَبَّيْتَ كَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَكَ بِكُلِّ تَلْبِيَةٍ عَشْرَ حَسَنَاتٍ وَ مَحَا عَنْكَ عَشْرَ سَيِّئَاتٍ فَإِذَا طُفْتَ بِالْبَيْتِ أُسْبُوعاً كَانَ لَكَ بِذَلِكَ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ عَهْداً وَ ذِكْراً يَسْتَحْيِي مِنْكَ رَبُّكَ أَنْ يُعَذِّبَكَ بَعْدَهُ
فَإِذَا صَلَّيْتَ عِنْدَ الْمَقَامِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ كَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَكَ بِهِمَا أَلْفَيْ رَكْعَةٍ مَقْبُولَةٍ فَإِذَا سَعَيْتَ بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَ الْمَرْوَةِ سَبْعَةَ أَشْوَاطٍ كَانَ لَكَ بِذَلِكَ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ مِثْلُ أَجْرِ مَنْ حَجَّ مَاشِياً مِنْ بِلَادِهِ وَ مِثْلُ أَجْرِ مَنْ أَعْتَقَ سَبْعِينَ رَقَبَةً مُؤْمِنَةً
فَإِذَا وَقَفْتَ بِعَرَفَاتٍ إِلَى غُرُوبِ الشَّمْسِ فَلَوْ كَانَ عَلَيْكَ مِنَ الذُّنُوبِ قَدْرُ رَمْلِ عَالِجٍ وَ زَبَدِ الْبَحْرِ لَغَفَرَهَا اللَّهُ لَكَ فَإِذَا رَمَيْتَ الْجِمَارَ كَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَكَ بِكُلِّ حَصَاةٍ عَشْرَ حَسَنَاتٍ تُكْتَبُ لَكَ لِمَا تَسْتَقْبِلُ مِنْ عُمُرِكَ
فَإِذَا ذَبَحْتَ هَدْيَكَ أَوْ نَحَرْتَ بَدَنَتَكَ كَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَكَ بِكُلِّ قَطْرَةٍ مِنْ دَمِهَا حَسَنَةً فَكَتَبَ لَكَ لِمَا تَسْتَقْبِلُ مِنْ عُمُرِكَ
فَإِذَا طُفْتَ بِالْبَيْتِ أُسْبُوعاً لِلزِّيَارَةِ وَ صَلَّيْتَ عِنْدَ الْمَقَامِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ ضَرَبَ مَلَكٌ كَرِيمٌ عَلَى كَتِفَيْكَ ثُمَّ قَالَ أَمَّا مَا مَضَى فَقَدْ غُفِرَ لَكَ فَاسْتَأْنِفِ الْعَمَلَ فِيمَا بَيْنَكَ وَ بَيْنَ عِشْرِينَ وَ مِائَةِ يَوْمٍ.

And as for you, O brother of Al-Ansaar, you have come to ask me about your Hajj and your Umrah, and what Reward there is for you in these two. Know that when you head to the way of Hajj, then you mount your ride and your ride goes with you, your ride will not place its hoof and will not rise its hoof except Allah-azwj will Write for you a good deed, and Delete an evil deed. When you don the Ihraam and exclaim Talbiyya, Allah-azwj Writes ten good deeds for you with every Talbiyya, and Deletes ten evil deeds. When you perform Tawaaf of the House (Kabah) seven circuits, in the Presence of Allah-azwj Mighty and Majestic there will be a pact for you and Zikr. Your Lord-azwj will be too Embarrassed from you to Punish you after it. When you have prayed two units Salat by Al Maqam (of Ibrahim-as), Allah-azwj will Write for you for these two, a thousand Accepted units of Salat. When you perform Sa’ee between Al-Safa and Al-Marwa of seven circuits, due to that there will be for you, in the Presence of Allah‑azwj, similar Recompense of the one who performs Hajj walking from his city, and similar Recompense of one who liberates seventy necks of believers! When you pause at Arafaat up to the setting of the sun, even if there were to be upon you sins of a measurement of sands of a desert and foam of the sea, Allah-azwj will Forgive these for you. When you pelt the rocks, Allah-azwj will Write for you ten good deeds with every pebble to be written for you for whatever you will be facing from your lifespan. When you have slaughtered your offering, or you have sacrificed your sacrificial animal, Allah‑azwj will Write a good deed for you with every drop of its blood, to be written for you for whatever you will be facing from your lifespan. When you have performed Tawaaf of the House (Kabah) seven circuits for the Ziyarat, and you have prayed two units Salat by Al-Maqam (of Ibrahim-as), an Angel will tap upon your shoulders, then say, ‘As for what is past, it has been Forgiven for you, so resume the deeds in what is between you and one hundred and twenty-five days’’.
